Difference Between Rollator Transport Wheelchair and Rollator Walkers

For people with limited mobility or trouble with walking, rollators or walkers with wheels or rollers are the perfect devices.  Rollators are easier to control and maneuver because of their wheels. A person using this kind of device would only have to push it slightly to move instead of lifting it. With this, mobility device, the person would only have to apply small amount of his energy.

Despite the benefits of rollators, you mustn’t forget that there are several types of them. If you take the wrong one then you wouldn’t benefit from the boons of these mobility devices. One is to provide support to a person who doesn’t have enough strength or the ability to walk on his own.  Once the user has gotten tired of walking, he may then decide to use his device as a wheelchair by sitting on its padded seat and asking someone to push him.

On the other hand, there are Nova rollator walkers. Nova is also one of the most reputed brands in this line. This type of rollator may or may not be built with padded seat. Moreover, a rollator walker can be folded or contracted to be used in a smaller or tighter space. A slight tap or press on the buttons of these mobility devices would contract rollator walkers.

The type of mobility device that you would have to buy should depend on the condition of your body or the person you are buying it for. To be safe, smart buyers suggest on taking a moment to research before deciding.
