3 Simple Ways to Stay Healthy This Summer

When the summer time comes, most of us our hit with a nice contrast in our wants and desires. We want to walk around the beach and enjoy the breeze, and maybe even passively show off our bodies at the same time to all the people passing by. And yet we also want to go to all those cookouts and take seconds on the BBQ, drink more beer than we should, and shun all manner of healthy eating!

Luckily, it doesn't have to be this way. In fact, there are 3 simple rules you can follow for the summer that will make it much easier to keep your figure and simply stay healthy - and for many, even improve your physique.

The first thing is to start the season with a detox. This could be any manner of detox that works best for you. For some it's a pure raw food diet, or for others it's removing cheese and milk from the diet, and yet for others it's simply using detox drinks. Whatever it is, just be sure you stick with it for the time being and follow the rules so you will reap all the benefits of doing the detox.

The second action you want to take is make a commitment to drinking lots of real juice this summer. I'm not talking about juice with lots of sugars - real of fake, nor drinks without any real fruit juice. I'm talking real juice, like something from a juicer or a juice bar. If you were to replace all that booze you'd otherwise drink with juice, you'd do very well this summer to not gain any weight. My favorites is to buy beetroot juice and drink that every morning - just be sure to brush your teeth afterwards or else you might be walking around purple teeth!

The third method I want to mention is the simple use of ditching the car and riding the bike. It is summer time after all, right? It feels so good to stroll through my neighborhood streets on my Raleigh Cruiser bike. I get to save money, be outdoors, and burn calories at the same time. Let other people sit in the traffic, not me!

These 3 tricks can give you a great boost for the summer, and once fall comes around you will not have gained any weight! And maybe, just maybe, you'll have picked up a habit or two you'll want to keep up for the rest of the year!
